ACA Objectives
- To promote the establishment and development of a vibrant private agricultural consultancy industry.
- To represent the interests of its members
- Collection and dissemination of information, including national and EU policy issues, new research results, environmental issues etc.
- Training – information technology, environmental protection, management etc.
- To support isolated members by giving them a point of contact for information and advice.
- To disseminate the expertise of the professionals to a wider audience, i.e. farmers/rural community. Many of the members are well known experts in key production, environmental, management and financial areas.
- To act as a representative body on behalf of its members in matters of local, national or international policy.
- To support the rural community, in particular, farmers in developing their businesses to the best of their potential. At the same time being conscious of national and EU regulations and environmental considerations.
- In medium term to become a self-financing non-profit making organisation which promotes the enterprises of its members as well as promoting sustained rural development.
